Verint Witness Actionable Solutions’ Quality Monitoring/Recording Software Receives “Gvalidated” Designation from Genesys

Company’s Solution Receives Highest Integration Status

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS and MELVILLE, N.Y., April 30, 2008Verint Systems Inc. - today announced that the quality monitoring and recording solution from its Verint® Witness Actionable Solutions™ business line has been validated through the Gvalidated Application Integration initiative by Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc., an Alcatel-Lucent company (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU).

To achieve this designation, a company must be accepted into the Genesys validation initiative and have successfully developed and deployed its integration according to Genesys design standards. Gvalidated is the highest status for a non-Genesys developed integration.

Verint Witness Actionable Solutions’ quality monitoring/recording solution is designed to help contact centers and enterprises increase operational effectiveness, reduce liability and enhance the customer experience.  The software is a flexible recording solution that allows organizations to capture, evaluate, store and retrieve customer/caller interactions for quality and training purposes – as well as compliance and sales verification – in IP, TDM and mixed telephony environments. 

The Gvalidated designation helps companies identify applications that have met a stringent set of integration validation requirements.  Only applications that carry the Gvalidated logo can claim that the integration has been developed according to Genesys-approved methods and standards, was designed using Genesys tools, is documented through Genesys standards and methodology, and has been successfully tested in a lab environment.

Validation is highly selective.  Successful validation requires that the application developer:

  • Complete integration development as outlined in Genesys documentation
  • Complete a stringent technical validation process administered by the Genesys Gvalidated team and Professional Services groups
  • Complete training on Genesys products in order to sell, support and deploy the Genesys products to which they have integrated
  • Have a working lab system that can be used to diagnose issues, duplicate problems, and troubleshoot issues and to provide the first line of support for customers
  • Provide personnel to support the Genesys partnership
