As of November 1, 2007, the requirements for Gold Certification have been revised. Partners will now be assessed according to a defined geography within one of the following regions: North America, EMEA and APAC. This will ensure that the Certification will reflect how business is conducted in these regions between the partner and Genesys.

Genesys' Gold Certification is designed to make our joint customer experiences more successful. This
program provides technical differentiation to partners who have gained
a superior level of expertise in specific product areas and who have
illustrated success in customer implementations and support.

The partner
must meet a stringent set of requirements in the following areas:
Certification compliments our existing business categories of Premier,
Strategic and Global. A partner will still fit into one of these business
categories based on the entry requirements to the Genesys Partner Program.
Membership in the Genesys Partner Program is a prerequisite
to the Certification program which will be will be awarded to partners
who have met the certification requirements.

Partners who achieve this level of competency and experience will
be awarded Gold Certification in the respective category in addition
to receiving additional program benefits.
Partners can be Gold Certified in the following 2 categories:
Gold Certified Genesys Suite Partner: A Suite Partner has
expertise across the entire Genesys product line. These partners
typically are experts in CTI and contact routing of
all media types (Inbound Voice, Outbound, Email, Web,),
desktop integration and reporting. Partners in this
category may also include Workforce Management and
Genesys Voice Platform in their offering.
Gold Certified Genesys Voice Platform Partner: Voice
Self-Service is an industry and specialty in itself and Genesys has
many partners who focus in this area. This category ensures technical
competency for installation, administration and maintenance as well
as application development.
