Next Steps

Genesys IP Telephony product family consists of two products: IP Media eXchange (IPMX) and SIP Communication Server (SIP CS). Both support Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) in order to communicate with SIP-based best-of-breed 3rd-party components such as IP phones, media gateways, IP call recording and quality monitoring tools. Hence, Genesys IP Telephony provides excellent opportunities for IP equipment and applications vendors to maximize their revenue opportunities by integrating their products and sell into large Genesys installed base.

Who should join?
IP vendors providing applications such as IP call recording, quality monitoring or other applications that create a synergy with the existing Genesys IP product portfolio should consider joining the InterWorks program to certify against the Genesys IP Telephony product line. Typically, these applications go beyond basic SIP interoperability (e.g. IP gateways, IP Phones) and require development using one of the Genesys SDKs. For Interoperability, please refer to Genesys InterWorks for Infrastructure Program .

What is the price for developer materials?
Price quotes for developer materials will be furnished once the Mutual Confidentiality Agreement and Developer License agreements have been executed.
